I am so glad you ars enjoying it. Your words are what I needed to hear after a rotten day.
I had Wattapad but it got hacked. I have not tried AO3, is that the one where its your hub of writings and you can then post in all over the place?
I’m sorry to hear you had such a bad day. :(

Oh no, that sounds horrible!

Archive Of Our Own is the largest online library of fanfic. I’m on there as the same username that I have on here (but the only LoZ fic that I have on there is a smutty Malink fic that I wrote a couple years back -it’s REALLY bad ) I’m not sure which one you’re referring to.

I might make an account then and post my more mature Midlink fan fiction there.

PART X: ZORA ZORA GALORE!

On the island of Lake Hylia, the two drifted off into a slumber, unaware of the eyes on them. Rising from the waters was shapes with fins. Link awoke to slippery hands grabbing at him, and Fay shouting,
"Link! Wake up!"
The Hero awoke and he was plunged into water, bubbles ascending from his gapping mouth as the Zora with tridents drew him with chains down under. Fay was before him, four the Fish Folk had her in a net, she reaching out her hand to Him. Link tried to reach when she was taken into a separate tunnel underground. They surfaced in a pool, standing was a figure in coral red and white flesh, eyes orange and silver trident in his hand like a scepter. Fins fell on the shoulders like dreads, and he said,
"The Lake is sacred Hylian.. the treaty of Jabu states it is not to be disturbed."

Link was dripping wet, his blond hair strained droplets that fell on the rock. The Zora took the Trident and with cape between spikes hooked around The Hero's neck and pulled him to look up in the Prince who said,
"You will speak Hylian! I am a Prince, Prince Sidon! I demand you make recompense for this transgression!"

Catching his breath, Link said,
"It was not my intention to offend.. where have you taken her?"

Sidon bore his teeth with a flash of fire in his eyes.
"I am the one asking questions Hylian.. you have trespassed into Zora Domain! A violation of.."
Another Zora approached, one smaller in statue and who's face was of more tender composure.
"Sidon.. what goes on here?" The Prince turned to her, "Mipha, this is none of your business. I am interrogating the Earthwalker."
Mipha looked at Link bound in chains,
"Brother, why have you ensared this poor soul? What have you done?"
The Prince fumed and said,
"I do not answer to you! These Hylians have violated our realm and must suffer the consequences."

Mipha crossed her arms,
"Did they show agression? Did they actually breach our borders and enter our domain?"
Sidon sighed,
"Well not exactly, they were on surface.."
Mipha stepped closer and said,
"Then that is not invasion brother.. the surface to the depths of twenty feet belongs to the Hylians, the rest to us. It says so in Treaty of Jabu Jabu."
Sidon raised his tone,
"I know what is says!"
Mipha stepped between Sidon and Link,
"By taking them prisoner, you have in effect violated the treaty brother."

The Zora Prince let out an exasperated cry,
"He was not alone.. he had a giant with him!"

Mipha turned,
"Where is this giant?"

Sidon glinched his perfect pearl colored teeth.
"She is in the holding tank."

Mipha raised her squid tentacle like eyebrow,
"She? The giant is a she?"

Sidon crossed his arms and said,
"Yes.""

Mipha sighed,
"Please forgive my brother, he is overzealous in trying to prove to my Father he is ready to rule. I will see to it your friend is released."

Sidon piped up,
"Do not undermine my authority!"

Mipha retorted,
"I am Princess of the Zoras, and I have the right to contravene your decisions brother. I decree you let them both go, and forgo a possible conflict with the Hylians over your.. impetuousness."

Mipha turned to Link,
"Please accept my apologies on behalf of my people, I will take you to your friend."

Link chimed,
"Wife.. she is my wife."

Mipha swat Sidon on the head,
"You separated a couple?! You go at once and make sure she is ok! Go!"

Sidon moved with haste as Mipha showed Link the Realm of the Zora. It was beautiful with great arches and stone work. Glowing blue rocks illuminated the city, and the people moved about with the same passion for living as the Hylians on the surface. For a moment Link felt a pang, a deep sense of regret, that he had doomed these people as well when he released Fay from her Fountain. More than ever he was resolved to do what he could to save them, and all the world from calamity he had helped unleashed.

Fay was badly tangled in a great net, the Zora were trying to keep her afloat, her size making this difficult. Fay gasped for air and screamed,
"Link! Link! Help me!"
Her tears were hard to perceive over all the water, and when Prince Sidon saw that she was thus, he shouted,
"By Jabu! Cut her loose!"

Mipha and Link arrived, and the Princess was horrified, she at once leapt into water, as did Link, who grabbed a trident from a Zora and went into shoals. He took the pitch fork and cut at the cords, Fay seeing him as she was capsized, and pulled under once more. Mipha took a knife and began to cut the cords tangled in her marvelous magenta hair. At last after a struggle the netting was torn asunder and Fay came to the surface with a great gasp. Link bobbed at her neck, to which seeing him, Fay planted kiss on him and raised him to her cheek.
"Oh Link! I was so afraid!"

The Princess of the Zoras came up out of the water silently, not wanting to interrupt the reunion when she saw Sidon, his face riddled with regret and lone tear falling down his cheek. She could tell he was full of sorrow for what he had done.

Sidon fell on his knee and said,
"My lady.. forgive me! I meant not this design.. I have commited a crime against you and your lover! Please chastise me in place of my people!"

Mipha put her hand on his shoulder, Fay looking at the penitient Fish Man, said,
"I normally can breath deep in the water.. it was the truama.. the fear that made me panic.."

Sidon averted his eyes and said,
"That I am the cause of such fear I should be exiled from my homeland.. forced to wander the waters far from Zora Domain!"

Mipha shook her head to convey that this seemed a rather extereme course of action.

Fay chuckled,
"I would rather you not.. mistakes are how mortals learn are they not? And besides no permenant harm was done."

Sidon gasped in awe,
"Then I am in debt to you and.. your companion.. I mean lover."

Both Fay and Link said as one,
"Husband."

Zora Domain was stirring with the news that Landers had come, one a giant. The King of the Zoras had invited Link and Fey to a banquet. Fay was fretting because her green gown was rather dirty. Mipha coming into the chamber said,
"I have something that will do."
Presented to The Great Fairy was scales of finest gold that covered her body, her breasts clade in two like seashells and the rest made her body appear a she wore fine maile. Looking at herself in the mirror, she was sparkling, her long flowing magenta hair dancing in the wind that blew through the alcoves.
"This is beatiful Princess! Thank you! Thank you so much!"

Mipha smirked and said,
"The outfit merely accentuates your beauty Great Fairy."
Fay turned around and unable to resist gave The Princess of Zoras a great hug.
"Do you suppose Link will like it?"
Mipha nodded,
"I am certain that he will be able to resist you."
The two blushed and went on talking about such things.

Meanwhile, Link was being escorted by Prince Sidon to pick out his own wares. The Hero was holding a Deep Navy Blue Tunic with some silver scales like a fish for armor.
Sidon cleared his throat,
"A befitting attire for dining with The King."
Link as he looked a golden ring with a pink stone in it said,
"He is your father is he not?"
The Prince of the Zoras sighed,
"He is indeed, you must understand Hylian that we Zora tend to be harder on our kind. The Sea is a treacherous place.."
The Hero nodded,
"Your sister seems rather confident."
Sidon drew another deep breath,
"She has always been that way. This life comes easy to her, she would make a great queen."
Link gave the Zora Vendor some rupees as he took the ring and Tunic. He then walked with The Prince.
"I know I am a great disappointment to him.. my Father. I am too rash, too prone to emotional outbursts. You saw my Sister, she rectified all my wrongs with short work.."

Link placed his leather clade hand on the Zora;s shoulder.
"If I have learned anything in this world, it is that those who are chosen never have things come easy to them. Your sister has a gift to be sure, and a grand queen she would make, but you are a Prince and destined to be king, and that is not something that happens in one night, even if so crowned, you would still need to grow into that role."
Sidon turned and smiled, his face beaming with a joy the Hero had not seen.
"I believe it must be the work of Jabu Jabu himself that you have come. We say the Sea sends the messenger when the current is right."
At that moment The Hero felt a pang, for he knew what lurked far above this watery world, and what doom was poised to strike all the inhabitants from the highest peaks to lowest parts of the ocean.
"I am afraid the message I bear my Prince is not a happy one.."

A great table was prepared of finest white coral with plates the colors of the sea, greens, blues, and whites. At the end of the table was the King. He was titan of a Zora, towering above all, with skin perriwinkle blue and white, and face most kind. He held up a goblet that was in crescent shape of a fish and said,
"I wish to welcome our guests from the Land of Hyrule! They grace my table on the eve of the anniversary of the signing The Treaty of Jabu Jabu.."

Link was already sitting when he stood in his Blue Tunic and Silver chain, when he turned to see Fay who glowed as the finest gold in her scale dress. The Hero felt his heart beat accelerate as if a miniature drum had been put in its place. Fay was given an extra tall chair like The King, and as she sat near Link, she leaned over,
"You look so handsome!"
The Hero touching he big hand, kissed it and said,
"I know its not the right size.. I bought you this gift. You look so beautiful my love!"

He handed her the ring, to which Fay placed in her pale hand, her chest rising up and down rhythmically as the tide that could be heard, her eyes trembling, as she looked at the gold band and the magenta stone. She held it close to her breast and said,
"Oh Link!"
She showered him with great kiss, that covered his whole face, to which he smiled. All those in attendance clapped their hands at this gesture of lovers. Fay placed the ring on her pinky for now, when she considered what she had pondered before upon the island above this Domain. And she resolved in her heart she would do it.

The King raising his hand called forth the attendants who brought shellfish of all sorts, crab, lobster, and fish. Each began to partake with delight, Fay laughing when she cracked a claw of a crab and it flew down the table to the King who said,
"A fine gift Milady! Thank you!"
They all laughed. Link looking into the eyes of His Love felt in that moment that if the end was to come soon, this was how he would want to spend it, in her company and laughing, and looking longingly into her great eyes, which sparkled with that fairy light that he had first saw at fountain and which seemed so long ago. His original plan to brief The King on the Doom that awaited he decided to postpone, everyone having to grand a time at table.

That night when the dishes were clear and they gathered into what looked like a giant clam with stone benches to listen to Zora play instruments, reeds and shells they blew in, which were the sounds of the sea. Fay held Link's hand as they were carried away by the music. When the symphony came to its end, Fay and Link were taken to their private chamber. There they had a view of the surface, and there was a small pool with warm waters from a spring. As they stepped into this little paradise, Fay told Link to go into the room aside for a moment. As she drew herself near the steaming waters, she looked down into them, at Great Self. And with a tear, which fell into the hot water she said,
"The time has come.. Fountain of Life I shut the spring, and I surrender my glow, let me know know what it means.. to be mortal."
With that great wind suddenly blew through the entire Domain, and it began to surround her as the hot waters rose up around her in a whirlpool. Link hearing this came out and shouted,
"Fay?!"
He tried to breach the tide that rose in a funnel upward, and it threw him back. Laying there soaking wet, he began to pant and said, "Fay!"
It then began to recede, and as it dropped below, he saw a figure, not the mighty tall one he had known, this was woman his size, her hair was as pink as light pink roses around Hyrule Castle, and her skin as fine as pearls, and he realized as he drew near to her, she was no more clade in the gold scales, nor in the moss and leaves. He took his cape off and drew neigh to her and placed it around her as she slowly began to open her eyes. As she moved, her pinky ring slid off, and rolled on to ground so that Link had to grab it. He took it up and as he was about to return it, her eyes opened to reveal orbs as fine as pink sapphires. They sparkled, but not with that glow as before, a new vita was in her. She took his hand adn said,
"Link.. we are the same size.."

Bowing on one knee, he took the ring as she smiled, and she offered his ring finger on her left hand, he slid it on and it was a perfect fit. At this he could not hold back and rose to embrace her, their mouths met for first time, both the right size.

PART XI: THE SEED AND THE SELENIAN

Link and Fay laid there overlooking the world above, she was in his blue tunic top, and he bare chested, her head leaning on it. The two laid there on the bead as their hands came together, fingers meeting as their lips had. The Hero kissed his magenta hair and said,
"I love you so much Fay.. the choice you made, what does it mean?"
She turned her head, her pink sapphire eyes fixing on his torquiose blue ones.
"It means I am not longer a Fairy of the Fountain. I am a mortal, I will live and die as you do."
Link places his hands on her soft skinned arms and said,
"You did this for me.. I do not know what to say, other than I will live every last breath as your dutiful husband, protecting you, showering you with my love, and face whatever threats may come.. well that have come."
He recalled the Doom that floated on the horizon far above, he wished they could live down in Zora Domain forever on this honeymoon.

Meanwhile in Kokiri Village, the Fountain that had collapsed began to pulse. and columns rose out of ground as if shoorts of grass. The sound of water was heard again. Inside the great pool was a sack that floated up, it was a Water Lily with chrystilis on top of it of green and yellow, with ivy like vines on it. Standing outside was the figure from The Moon, who's eyes were glowing as candle light, and who's flesh was the color of moondust. He squinted at the restoration of this Fountain, and turned when he heard hooves. The Satyr appeared, thinking from distance this was the capped friend of Fay, he charged, and as he did, The Moondust One turned and disappeared into a cloud of gray powder and then appeared solid behind him on a hill, The Satyr saying as he gazed upon him, "What are you? Where is she?!". The Dark Grey Elf then appeared as great twister that rose up into the sky to the Moon with its face full of malice. landing there on the crator, The Luni walked deep into the core of that Selenian, there a great fire of ore, and there appeared to gears. Drawing near to a panel that marked days, The Moondust One took the lever and pressed it forward, making the entire chamber rattle. Outside the the Moon with its face of rage began to descend more rapidly.

In the Halls of Zora Domain, King Dorephan with his perriwinkle and white skin sat upon the throne as scouts came and told him of the sight in the sky that was drawing even larger. The King drew a deep breath as he summoned his Council, Prince Sidon came, and at that moment Mipha stood nearby listening.
"The Realm of the Rito is filling with something.. a great moon with the face of demise. It seems our guests have not been completely honest about what plagues the Earthen Realm and its Sky."
Prince Sidon spoke up,
"Father, Link told me he had news that was grave. This must be it."
The King turned to his Heir,
"Call him here, we must know what is transpiring. Our worlds my son are symbiotic, that of The Hylian and us Zora. The Goddesses made both our realms and we live in life circle that needs each other."

Sidon went at once to the private chambers, and knocked at the door. Link answered and The Prince of the Zoras said,
"You must come at once my friend. There is news from the skylands."
Link got dressed and came in his Zoraian Tunic, Fay had a dress fetched of finest lavander. Arriving at the Council, Link bowed to which The King said,
"My Son says you have news of what stirs the sea of the sky."

Link gave a nod.
"Forgive me my King, I meant to discuss this matter sooner, but.."
He looked at Fay,
"I got swept up in all your hospitality and.."

King Dorephan interrupted,
"Love.. yes I see that you two are deeply so, though.. my Lady Fay, you are.. much changed!"

Fay nodded,
"I must speak on this matter King, for it is my fault this Doom has come to the sky and to all realms."

At this the Zora Council began to make noises like dolphins and whales, signs of distress.
Dorephan held his hand up,
"Explain.."

Fay took a deep breath and looking first at Link she said,
"I was a Great Fairy tasked with keeping this calamity at bay, when I left my Fountain, it triggered this world ending event."

The Zora all now started to stir more, making those noises from before, some raising tridents,
"Take her! Feed her to the Kraken!"

Link drew his sword and stepped beside her, Fay placed her hand on flat of the weapon, motioning it down.
"I am so sorry.. I never meant for this all to happen. I just wanted to experience life.. to know.." she looked at her Hero, "what it means to love and be loved by someone."

The King began to rub his white chin of slick flesh.
Fay continued,
"I have created a contingency.."

Link looked at her perplexed and The King of Zoras said,
"What contingency?"

She said,
"When I gave up my immortality, and ceased to be a Great Fairy, it means my post goes vacant, and the Goddesses will send a replacement. Once they take their place, this calamity will be ended."

Link whispered,
"Why did you not tell me?"

She replied softly,
"I wanted you to know that chief reason I gave up my immortality was for love of you."

The King interrupted,
"Then it seems the crisis is averted."

Fay sighed and lowered her head, the long locks of pink moving as sea kelp in the sea.
"This is a hiccup.. the new Great Fairy must first be born.. and that gives the Doom time to finish its calamity."

The Council all began to murmur again.
Dorephan raised his hand once more,
"What must be done to ensure this child is born?"

Fay sighed,
"There is no way to predict when it will hatch from its egg."

Sidon spoke,
"Is it possible to waylay this Moon from the Sky Islands?"

Fay shook her head as she thought,
"No.. but.. if we somehow could land on it before it meets the earth, perhaps we may find a way to stop it."

The King spoke,
"Then it is settled, Sidon take some of our best fighters, outfit them with tanks and help these two in this endeavor."

Sidon bowed his coral read and white head as he lead Fay and Link to a chamber of water. There soldiers were outfitted with tanks on their back of water that had glowing runes, and a helm that had a breather connected to hosing.

Fay took Link's hand and said,
"I am sorry I did not tell you."

Link smiled as he leaned to kiss her lips.
"That is alright, I know it was not an easy decision."

Fay nodded,
"I do not have my fairy powers to help you this time, especially the ability to fly."

Link took a trident and handed it to her,
"I shall teach you how to fight as mortals do."

PART XII: DOWNFALL

The trip to the Sky was a journey that tested The Zora, the stepping rocks that perpetually levitated and their slippery skin made it hard. Link and Fay went before, they could see The Moon, and its ghastly gaze, it was closer than ever. As they came to one of the islands, and stood there, a Rito Girl with red eyes and beak of yellow came, her hair like the sky at sunset.
"It has drawn close.. our prayers have had no effect."
A tear rolled down her cheek as she listened to this Rito. Link looking up at menacing Luna took his Claw Shot and fired it to another island hovering afar off and at higher elevation.
Fay turned and said,
"This is all my fault.."
Link attaching to his harness the chains, took Fay into his arms and said,
"All we can do my love is try to make right what we can.. that is what do now. I will be with you the whole way, we will find a way."
With those words he pressed the release, and the two of them were taken up into the air, the wind blowing Fay's long magenta hair as long strands, all that remained of her fairy appearance.
As they ascended and held on tight to the Claw Shot, pieces of the Moon began to fall down, smashing into sky islands and scattering them as if they were ships in a sea. Link felt the island they were lassoed to move and they were pulled with a swift jerk. Prince Sidon hard harpoon with chain that he swung on, he too was caste into the wind, holding on to the chain as his anchor is this realm that was the opposite of his home. One of the Zora's harpoons broke and they were tossed, they let out a squeak like a sea creature, Sidon seeing them fall cried out,
"Aquila! Nooooooo!"
Link turned to Fay,
"Hold on.."
He then let go, to which she shouted,
"Link! What are you doing?! Link!"

The Hero began to fall as chunks of the Cruel Moon, he saw the Zora who was crying out. Putting his head forward, and his arms to his sides, Link dove until he was upon Aquila. and he now was matching his descent.
"Your reserve Harpoon, get it now!"
Aquila grabbed at his back sack, a trident bent with horshoe shaped spikes and cord of thick rope like that of mariners.
"This is what we have to do, you see that island..."
The Zora looked,
"That is the last chance! We must hook on to it or perish!"
The two steadied their fall, and they saw the island, it was almost in reach, when a piece of the moon hit it and knocked it away. Link closed his eyes a moment and said,
"It is going to be alright.. Aquila.. take my hands."
The Hylian and Zora took each hands as they fell, when suddenly the rope of the harpoon was jerked and they were pulled upward just before hitting the top of trees. A Rito with great wings bore them up,
"Hold on!" shouted Link with a tone of elation.

They were brought to the island where Fay had just reached the top of, she went running to link and embracing him said,
"I was so worried! I could not catch you! All of this is my fault!"

Link kissed her forehead and said,
"It is alright my love, thanks to this One."

The Great Rito spoke,
"Seeing you risk yourself for a Zora, Hylian, I could not hesitate to save you both. After all, our people were once Zora.
they are thus kin to us."

Fay went over to the Great Bird Man and took his hand and showered it with kisses.
Withdrawing it he said,
"I will bear you two to the Moon to undo what has been done, and then bring your friends."

Sidon hugged Aquila, and then went to Link and said,
"You risked everything for one of us.. this day we are Fin Brothers forever."

Link and Sidon embraced as warriors do at shoulder.

At last Link and Fay were brought hence to The Moon, they landed upon it with the Great Rito, the ground was light and the dust was as sand only great, with mighty crators. The Great Rito letting them down said,
"I shall get your companions."

Link gave a nod, and Fay smiled. As the Great Rito took off, the two of them took their hands together, and came to one of crators, the deep blackness as an abyss.
"Down there I believe is what we seek Link, though I am afraid."

The Hero drew her into his arm and said,
"As long as we are together, we can face anything."

As they prepared to leap, a great tornado of dust grabbed them and they both were torn apart from each other, Link thrown to one side of crator and Fay to the other, when the whirlwind landed near Link and took the form of his likeness save for it was as gray as the Moondust, and its eyes golden as the Sun in the morn.
Link gagged and voided the dust, when the Dark Gray Elf drew near with a blade drawn and shield.
Link drew the Master Sword and his Hylian Shield which shimmered.
Fay got up, coughing and saw Link was on the other side facing some Look a Like. She began to run, to try and bound around the great circle of darkness.

Link holding his edge ready said,
"What are you?"

The Moondust One replied in a crackled speech,
"Downfall."

Link shook his head and rushed shouting,
"Ha-ret!"
He swung his mighty mirror blade, and Downfall blocked and returned a identical slash, making Link have to block, their blades held in lock up.
"Why must this happen?! All she wanted was what we all want! Why are you doing this?"
Downfall looking at him with eyes glowing hotter, even making The Hero feel heat.
"You think she is the reason I am here.."
Link broke off and thrusted, The Gray Elf doing a back flipp and landing near the edge of the Great Crator.
The Hero shouted,
"Har-ret!" as he swung fiercly, and Downfall caught the blade with his edge,
"How little you mortals understand.. there is no stopping The End.."

Fay was almost upon them when Downfall thrusted his blade into Link's arm, he cried out, "argh!"
Then in a swift motion he tossed The Hero into the Great Hole. Downfall dropping down into the abyss found Link caught in what appeared to be roots. They tightened around Link, who dropped his sword and shield, which landed upright, the tip of blade in moondust dune. Downfall landed there and looking up at Hero now held, said,
"Did you think.. your actions,, had no consequences,, Hero of Time?"

Link focused his blue eyes on Downfall.
"How do you know that was what I was called?"

Downfall chuckled, his mouth expelling more moondust,
"Your playing with time is well known among us.. and for that you have brought forth this end.."

The Hero of Time tried to break free of the roots,
"Then what of Fay? If she is free of blame, then let her be!"

Downfall shook his gray cap and said,
"Make no mistake.. her choice did speed this day.. she effectively turned this Moon into a Comet."

Above this great abyss Fay took a breath and decided to leap, she fell when she felt her shoulders grabbed by The Great Rito,
"My Lady.. patience is a virtue, let me help you down."

Sidon and Company landed with Ritos of their own all armed. Deep in the Belly of Doom, Downfall felt them and he called to the roots, which released Link to land on the dune, and they rose to surface as great worms that began attacking The Zora and Rito. Sidon threw his tident into one as she shouted, "For The Zora!"

Link drew The Master Sword from the dust, Downfall looking at it said,
"That thing is an abomination.. and the reason you and this world will fall.."

Downfall drew his dark mirror blade that matched The Master, the two crossed, and the fight began anew on the dune. Fay descended on this scene in the talons of The Great Rito, she saw what appeared to be a furnance. Landing she saw Link and the Copy fighting, she considered stepping in when she heard a sound. The whole Moon structure began to shake violently. She ran over to the strange engines and saw says and a lever, she tried to force is back, The Great Rito trying to offer aid.

Downfall looking over at them chuckled,
"As if anything in your power could suspend your downfall."
Link thrusted his blade, it passing thorugh Downfall as if sand. The tip protruded out of back as tooth. Downfall began slashing at The Hero of Time, who began to block with his shield, and tumbled down the dune. It was then that Downfall leapt in to air and turned as he fell, his back now facing when Link lay, gagging on moondust. Then those blue eyes grew great and large as spouting out of his mouth was blood. Downfall lay a top Link, as their bodies were linked by the instrument of time, Downfall said,
"Death is never without its poetry.."

With that he rose, his body passing through the crossgaurd and pommel of the Master Sword which now was dipped in The Hero, who began to shake from cold. Downfall turned as he now was solid once more. His golden eyes of flame looking down on the downfall of a Hero.
At this moment Fay realizing nothing she could do to reverse the crashing of this hollow moon went looking for Link when she at the dune saw Link below, his sword in his chest. She screamed,
"Link! Link!"
She slide down the slope of moondust down to him and placed her very thing arms around his head as blood trickled down his chin.
"My love! Why... why?! Why did I give up my powers! I could heal you!"

Sidon and company dropped from the cieling with their harpoon ropes and landed, another root burst through the wall and they threw their tridents at it, making it draw back. Sidon surfed the Moondust and leapt on the Root, and drawing his trident which was embedded in it, raised it up and said,
"By the power of the Sea I command you to fall!
With that he struck it and there great burst of water, it filled the root so that it became greater and great till suddenly it burst. Sidon landed, a smirk of satisfaction painting his face when he saw Fay shedding her own water and Link impaled. He made haste to them and said,
"No! How?!"

Downfall appeared behind them,
"Heroes fall.. one way or another.. at least he will retain his legend throughout the ages. well those who remember it."

Sidon turned and tossed his trident which passed through Downfall.
"All your rage.. all your moral authority.. all your magic.. cannot stop the invitable.. soon there will be nothing.. only oblivion."

Link's heart beat grew faint, Fay holding him tight and cradling him. The Master Sword began to glow as fire, and it began to pass through The Hero of Time, and through dust, until it hurled from the sky itself and came upon the Fountain in Kokiri Village. There it struck the Seed, that lay on a lily pad, and there was crack, and snapping sound. Vines with ivy sprang from it and grabbed the corners of the Fountain and bore it up as the crack grew, a bright pink light shining forth. Then the egg shaped pod bursted open and there was dust of light everyewhere and the sound of flapping wings. as a child rose up, eyes closed though painted magenta on the lids, and short hair of magenta. The lids stirred, and The Doom Moon suddenly began to slow its descent, it shook, and Downfall turned,
"The Child.."

Downfall headed over to controls of the Moon and tried to shift it forward a day, when the lever snapped off. He then decided to turn into a whirlwind and head to the surface, out the Great Hole. Sidon grabbing the Great Rito's talon took off in prusuit.
Fay and Link were there together as Link grew colder,
"Link.. please do not leave me.. everyone always leaves me."
The Hero reaching up to touch her face,
"My dear Fay.. these days with you have been greater than a lifetime alone. We always knew we had very little time.."
Fay stroked his chest and said,
"I know.. I had hoped.. sobs.. it would last."
Link kissed her wet cheek and said,
"That is the curse of us mortals.. loss.. and yet.. it makes every moment more precious, more glorious.. more treasured. This is something the gods can never understand. We love knowing that we will not last, and we will become heart broken."
Fay cried out,
"The pain is more than I can bear!"
Link wiped the flows of tears and said,
"You must live my love.. and remember.. remember those moments.. those precious sweet moments."
Fay grabbed him more tightly,
"I am never letting go."

Down below, at the Fountain in Kokiri Forest, there The Twister of Moondust took shape as Downfall in his gray cap. There the Satyr stood with his great axe and Moblins.
"I knew you would return to this place.. where is she?"
Downfall scoffed,
"This Great Fairy has ensnared you as well? She is no more a fairy, she has joined the Hylian kind, now step away and let me through."
The Sayr with his gilded hair and eyes said,
"Where have you taken her?!"
He swung his great axe which Downfall stopped with back of his hand.
"I see that I must dispense with your services.."
The Satyr looked at him,
"I do not serve you!"
Downfall smiled as his other hand formed into blade and dug it into the neck of The Satyr.
"All serve me! I am the Downfall of all!"
Seeing their Captain fall, the Moblins rushed with clubs all beating down Downfall, tunring him to dust that floated upward and then entered their mouths and ears, they began to choke, each of them falling down as they struggled to breath. At that moment Sidon arrived with The Rito and saw Downfall partially solid, much of him still as grains heading for hole into the Fountain. Sidon took his trident in hand, he stepped over the Moblins who were all lifeless now.

Inside Downfall reanimated into The Elf shape and saw the Babe floating above the waters. Its hands extended, he stepped over the half wall of the fount and waded in shallow water towards it, he hand forming into a sword.
"Hour grows late.. you halt what must befall.."
He took another step when he felt a stinging in his shoulder and he gasped, the points of a trident having made purchase. He phased, becoming the moondust and sinking beneath the water, the trident sinking deep below. Sidon taking his breather off, leapt into the waters as the Child Fairy remained stationary. Swimming below he looked for his trident, when something grabbed him and pulled him against a wall, a great tentacle of ashen color and mouth of Shark with eyes glowing yellow. Sidon kicked, trying to reach his trident, but was raised up into air and above the surface and thrown. The Mouth of Megaladoon rose up to swallow Fairy Baby when Sidon leapt into the air and grabbed the Child from the jaws of Doom. The Great beast sank back down beneath the shoals. The whole fountain began to shake, and above in sky The Moon began to fall once more. The Babe opened its eyes to look at Prince of the Zoras and began to cry, he took it adn said,
"How do we stop him?!"
The Baby mumbled and pointed when Downfall emerged from the waters, with a Zora shape, his skin dark drey and white and his eyes ever the same cauldrons of sunlight.
"Give me the child Prince!"

On the Moon that was hastening once more to the earth, Fay felt Link fading and she kissed his face more urgently,
"Do not leave me.. Link!"
Opening his eyes once more, he placed his hand on her cheek and said,
"Fay promise me.."
She kissed his wrist,
"Anything!"
The Hero of Time said,
"That you will live.."
Of all that he could ask of her then, the one thing she did not want.
"Promise me.."
Fay kissed his hand some more and said,
"I.. promise."
At that his grip on her cheek weakened and his hand fell which she caught, and held to her face.
"Link.,. Link!"
His eyes went still as he exhaled. Fay let out cry that shook the inside of the Moon.

Within the Fountain, Sidon battled Downfall new form and the two locked in blades.
"Give me the kiddie! Or you will die now!"

The Baby which was now crawling had hair that was now to shoulder length, as she began to rise on a knee her form matured. Sidon held back Downfall and said,
"I will make you pay for what you have done to my Fin Brother!"
They two wrestled in the shallows, their tridents clanging, and they fell in knee high water. Sidon beating at him with other end of the weapon.
"I will drown you!"
He took hold of Downfall, who tried to shift into his grain self, but it became ink in the water. Sidon bore his perfect pearl teeth and grabbed his throat.
"It seems you are not a god!"
The Maturing Fairy rose up as her form began to take the shape of a woman, ivy and leaves covering her body. She levitated over them and held out her fingers. Downfall felt a tug, his eyes turned orange, as his mouth opened wide,
"Aaah! No!"
The New Great Fairy floating above him raised him up in his half liquid and half solid form and began to turn his fingers him spinning into a tornado once more, this time he was pour up, and struck the Moon, knocking it upward and causing it to ascend, its menacing face replaced with a somber one.

Rito and Zora were abandoning it before it reached the statosphere, Fay carried Link out of the Crater, and she looked down at world that was so small, and kissed his cheek before leaping off. She fell with her beloved in her arms, The Great Rito came flying up and caught her and The Hero of Time, and bore them down a sky island. The Moon of Doom hurled back into space, inside it Downfall cried out,
"Noooooooooooooooooooo!"

At the Fountain Sidon took some steps in shallows, there The New Great Fairy.
"If you have need of healing.."
Sidon with somber face said,
"I am afraid you have not the power to heal this wound Great Fairy.."
With that he came to hole that lead out and said,
"Thank you."
The New Great Fairy nodded as she disappeared in a whirlpool down into the water.

Forty Weeks Later...

In Kakariko Village a shop of finest wares called The Fairy sat with pink and green curtains. Inside women of Hyrule and even those as far as from Gerudo Desert came to buy these elaborate dresses. One dress in the window had scales of gold which was being requested by many and another spun in a deep green. Sitting behind the counter with thread and needle was woman with long flowing magenta hair, thick eyelashes, glasses, and finger nails as pink as her eyes. A woman stepped in, she wore a great crown upon her head and a dress of white with pink, she came to counter.
"Hello, I hope its not too late for me to request a repair."
Fay turned to see the Blond haired lady.
"Of course not! Please what do you need?"
The Regal Woman said,
"I tore my dress as you can see and well.."
Fay looking at the seam that was rent asunder said,
"I can have it fixed in a moment, let me get some thread that matches."
Stepping outside with her dress mended, the Lady of Regal Airs said,
"Thank you so much! Today is the parade and I want to look my best."
Standing door's shadow Fay said,
"Say nothing about it Princess!"
The Woman said,
"Call me Zelda."
With that she waved and headed to the sight of great commotion, the streets full of people. Fay stepped out to see, which revealed a ripe belly. She rubbed it as she smiled and said as she looked to the sky,
"I have kept my promise my love.. soon our child will come into this world, run and play where we once spent those precious moments.. I will tell them everything. I will remember.."
She shed a tear and yet remained smiling.
With that she closed the door of shop as she entered.

MY HEART IS SHATTERED, I'm going to cry now. :kawaii: I loved this fic so much, and this final chapter was the best. I'd love to read a sequel about Fay and Link's child.
