First of this is my first thread on ZD and all this is my thoughts on the subject so please don't get offended on any of this. Now you know how on links hylian shield in Oot at the bottom of it it has that one triangle on it and it has the same color as the triforce so you would think it would be part of the triforce so i think since it is bellow the triforce it is part of the triforce but forever separated so i think it symbolizes the people of hyrule being forever separated from the goddesses and so the people of hyrule are the last piece of the triforce/tetraforce. again this is just my theory on the subject and i leave you with this. good by goro:)

That's an interesting thought. I just think it's there for decoration... lol. But you never know. Alot of people think the red bird that is displayed on the shield could come from Link's bird in SS. I don't believe in the Tetraforce Theory though.

*Sigh* Here we go. (Again.)

Yes, this "extra" triangle is on the OoT Hylian Shield, and is one of the pieces of "evidence" for the Tetraforce Theory. However, this argument no longer has any merit, as that "extra" triangle no longer exists.

As you can see, it was taken out when Twilight Princess was made. (If you ask me, this happened because Nintendo learned of the Tetraforce Theory and figured they needed to put a stop to it without directly saying anything, so they took out that upside-down triangle.) Sorry, but there is no Tetraforce.

I actually do believe that will be the case in Skyward Sword. As in, I think the Hylian Shield will be first made personally for Link, and it will become the trademark shield of Hyrule in honor of Link.

Yeah, that would be awesome and I would love to see it happen.

This has been confirmed as non-existent by Nintendo, in that there is no "Tetraforce," and there isn't a whole lot to discuss here. Because of that, I'll be closing this thread.
