Tech Help: Playstation 2 memory card, puzzle?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this!


Scenario:
I deleted all the old game save data on my PS2 memory card, but now
it says there is only like 132 kb of free space, even though there are no data files left on the card.

I have tested the card on two different PS2's but with the same result.

When starting up (without a game, just the memory card inserted) going to "Browse",
the card shows up, there are no game files left/it's empty, but the free space is only like 132kb
or something.


Is there anything to do about this, does anyone have any tips?
I'd be very grateful for input.

I've gotten this problem before. The only way i could figure out how to fix is to get a new card.
