Why would you claim Cop if you were lynchproof?

because I suspect there's no mafia this game

I cant be lynched but when I get killed during the night a random person inherits my role

if a person with my role survives until the end they win and so do I and every person that got that role at one point

I dont think there's mafia because if mafia inherits my role they could just out their entire team

so to be more specific I was intending to fakeclaim cop that sees mafia/ not mafia because

1. if i got counterclaimed and lynched nothing would happen anyway so it had no risk

2. if there was no counterclaim mafia (if it existed) would likely come after me but if they didn't that would likely prove my theory that there's no mafia around since the specific claim of mafia/not mafia results is beneficial to third parties and so they would have no reason to kill me

i decided to go against it in the end because i wanted to see what would happen but it seems like people will try to come after me anyway which is lame because that'll mean another ~100h of nothing to talk about

my current guess is that there are multiple hostile indepts like 3-4 or even more serial killers and probably a handful of death protections

I'm not town
like I said my wincon is to survive until game ends but I still win as long the last person that inherits my roles wins

since I can help more people win just from getting shot during the night and lynching me does nothing I intend to play as town to bother and find hostile indepts/ mafia though

its possible that mafia can't randomly inherit your role, similar to how storm handles the buck. I would recommend you ask him whether or not this is the case.
