Ocarina of Time Stalchildren Not Popping Up Beyond Bridge on Hyrule Field - 3DS

I have just noticed what I believe to be an oddity both on the Master Quest and regular versions of Ocarina of Time 3D: the Stalchildren that pop up at nighttime as child link will cease to appear upon crossing the bridge leading to death mountain on Hyrule Field...

Can anybody confirm that this is the case on all versions of the game? Or is this a glitch on my particular copy?

As far as i'm aware, I still get Stalchildren near the Kakariko entrance.

They still dig up and out of the ramp/stairs in my copy of the game.

The same goes for me. I did notice the fact that they stop appering there, and was pondering such, but then I discovered that they appear on the stairs. Another of Nintendo's little easter eggs, in my opinion. (Nighttime safe haven for a young boy)

I supos the stairs are like the path on the field. No new Stallchildren will appear when you are there...

I noticed that too, and it's the same in at least the gamecube version.
Did you know the Stalchildren will NEVER appear if your wearing the Bunny Hood?
