I have not, but they're on my radar.Have you played Adventure 1 & 2?
Its awesome for us DB fans that Super Sonic is based on Super Saiyan.

You’ll get to play some if the Shadow Adventure 2 levels if you get Sonic X Shadow Generations.I have not, but they're on my radar.
Yeah, I can see that. Sonic Mania, like Generations, is just a greatest hits of Sonic's past and probably the most well rounded games in terms of quality. Someone who has been with the series for a while is definitely gonna get the most out of those games, but as a newcomer, you're at least experiencing the best the series has to offer.Sonic Mania. I think I played it too early to understand it's significance. I've played Sonic 1 but still have yet to beat it. And the Sonic racing games.
That takes me back to Sonic & Knuckled cartridge that opened at the top and let you put Sonic 2 & 3 in it so you could play Knux in both games. I admit I miss stuff like that.Yeah, I can see that. Sonic 3 & Knuckles and the Adventure games may have more of a coolness factor with their stories and presentation but going back after Mania and Generations might be a little rough. Personally, I'd highly recommend Sonic Lost World which is extremely underrated.
I do too. The closest things I can think of that are similar to that in recent times would be transferable save data between games like how Spider-Man: Edge of Time allowed you to carry over costumes from Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and more recently, Tears of the Kingdom let you carry over your horse data from Breath of the Wild. Wish that kind of stuff was more common. That takes me back to Sonic & Knuckled cartridge that opened at the top and let you put Sonic 2 & 3 in it so you could play Knux in both games. It would have been neat to carry over Botw arms and armor into Totk. It would have given incentive for people to play Botw before Totk.I do too.
