Got the idea from a song that shares its name. It also is sorta based off of the Attack on Titan OVA "No Regrets".

In the land of Südlington, the capital city Vermögen has a dark secret. It never revealed it to the rest of the small kingdom, but beneath it lies a city. A city where there is little light and disease is rampant. Few that live in the city ever taste fresh air through a large, high cavern not too far from the city. Most are crippled. The city's name is Totenburg, or Dead Fortress.

Save the youth have grown more desperate for light and wind and freedom. Several late teens and young adults have been caught attempting an escape. And those that escape are on a mission to free the others without getting caught. Some of the surface dwellers may just be willing to help.

Appearance: Reddish-sandy-colored, straight hair. Blue eyes. About 5' 11" Dresses as anyone else would, a little messy from being in the prison

Background: Started living above ground, but eventually got brought down when she was 5. As a result, she has never been satisfied with living underground. Going only on rapidly fading memories of the above world, she tries desperately to find a way out. eventually could not take it anymore, tried one last, desperate attempt to escape. She was careless as she went along and got captured. She is still in jail, waiting to be let out, or rescued.

Appearance: He has jet black hair and deep obsidian eyes. He is far too handsome for his own good, but he doesn't pride himself in it/use it to get what he wants. He often wears black, since it is easy to hide in the darkness of the underground. He is an inventor, very good with mechanics. He is nearly always filthy, covered in grease.

Background: He was born and bred in the Underground. He has never been to the Surface, but longs for a taste of clean, moving air. He hates the stuffiness of the Underground. But his world brightened when he met a young woman who shared his passion of escaping: Heike Friedrich. They planned many escapades. None of them worked... Until one day Heike was gone.

Other: He is dating Heike, and his weapon of choice is a modified pistol with a dagger attachment.

Age: 18

Surface or Underground: Surface- escaped from Underground

Appearance: she had straw-blonde hair pulled back with bangs covering her forehead, almost reaching her blue eyes. She is a three inches shorter than Mathias, at 5'7". She is slim and athletic, and much better at hand-to-hand than he is. She is an excellent planner.

Background: She too was born and bred in the Underground. She soon became a planner of escape attempts, helping the youth for pay. Heike was quite successful... Until a client got caught and ratted her out. She was forced into hiding. While she was hiding in the shadows, she met Mathias. He helped her plan and one day, she thought of the perfect escape plan. Without consulting Mathias, knowing its be best attempted alone, she escaped, and has been living on the Surface ever since.

Other: She is dating Mathias, and her weapon of choice is a modified rifle she stores on her back.
