Game Thread Sniper Mafia: A Sharpshooter's Delight

Okay, one thing sticks out to me immediately.

Why the random shot on musicfan?

Like I said to funnier, to get the the game going. It's hard to get discussion going day one as there is literally nothing to go off of. Town was given an excellent tool to create discussion (one which mido as a mafia member recognized and try to use it to gain town points) and I intend to use it. Once day two comes around (or even the second wave of shots), I expect them to be more calculated but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out as it really got discussion going (and we also hit mafia which is a HUGE benefit to town, one which hopefully the mafia won't be able to recover from).

Also as Deku said, seems that it's a bit weird that you focused solely on my shot.

I'd prefer to look at the shots that came later and I'll have to go back and check who shot. Since the shots had already started, mafia could of easily joined in and targeted town and just said "whoops, well everyone else was doing it anyways," if they happened to hit a townie. This also makes me think that Deku is town for this reason. Doesn't seem like he had a reason to target a scum bud at that point and risk it though he did say that he hadn't read the thread yet.

I don't know that I'd say Bok is certainly more suspicious. Right now I'm trying to pressure for answers.


The shots don't all carry the same meaning. Storm at least said he was feeling suspicious of who he shot. He had content to base that read off of. And forget not: the first completely baseless shot was fired by scum. Granted, if I were scum, I'd play it safer than that.


He had reason, at least. YIGA hadn't even posted in the game thread before Minish took the shot.


I'm sorry, was Minish required to shoot? Just because we can make it a blind bloodbath doesn't mean we should. But now that you ask, I kinda do wanna shoot Minish.

From what I’ve seen of stormo he makes his mind up quickly and changes it often so I wouldn’t exactly use that as evidence. Notice how he isn’t voting for her for instance.

Because I think we now have enough breathing room to do a tie the vote up. No one overly stands out.

Well, I don't think it's wise to risk losing numbers, even if we did happen to get one lucky shot in already. By the looks of it, there is a low chance of a hit though

I was surprised to see that when I was skimming over the thread. I know that inactivity is sometimes a giveaway, but "He's gonna get lynched anyway" is a dumb excuse.

Good thing the shot missed. I'd be a little pissed otherwise

In a murder mystery, the detective doesn't just shoot his gun at people to start conversation. I disagree with the method, but don't think there weren't bad intentions behind it

I would also like to mention the possibility that deku had indeed read the thread and realizing all the shots were missing shot his scum bud for future town cred thinking it would miss and had terrible luck.

Lately, I sit back and let funnier do it. But like I said, we were given a great tool to use and look at all the discussion it's creating.

This isn't a murder mystery though. At the beginning of the game we have no clues to help us look for whodunnit, we have to figure that out from information we gain in the process.

I can't hold a grudge. That's not the game. I'm not shoot at Minish for that. Considering I wasn't the only target of those kinds of attacks, I don't have much suspicion
