Where did this list come from? Mr. Game & Watch was from the Game & Watch games, he's been in more than just Smash Bros. It's weird how iconic Duck Hunt is, yet Nintendo hasn't done anything with the ip in so long.

ROB was in Mario Kart ds, and wouldn't toon Link technically be 2015 because of TFH

. I beg to differ, party games totally count as smash itself is a party game. also, it was toon link, just look at this art.
Smash does count the party games. I didn't because I wanted to show the list time they had a proper starring role in a game. Smash is not wrong, I just wanted that different focus.
Toon Link could be 2015 if you consider Triforce Heroes as the same Toon Link. I can agree with this. So it's 2009 or 2015 depending of each person's own opinion on this.

Yeah, that said, I doubt we will see the green haired link we see in TFH as an alternate skin for toon link.

Is it really too much to ask for Nintendo to replace Toon Link with Four Sword Link for a minute? Representation in Nintendo history? Yeah. New and fun? Duh. Unique moveset? Super easy, barely an inconvenience. It would take a little imagination to work up a leg bell from the related games but it's nowhere near impossible. Me want Four Sword!!!
