Wanted to make a thread for anyone to highlight some YouTube channels that you think are really good and could use some more attention. A couple quick guidelines I have for this:
1. the channel has to be below 50k
2. they have to be somewhat active, like at least 1 video every 2-ish months, depending on their content
Here's a few I'd recommend:
Hungry Goriya:
Bonus points for that epic Zelda reference. She does a lot of retro game reviews from the 8-bit and 16-bit era. They're all well researched and greatly presented. One thing you'll definitely notice about her is her voice and how pleasant sounding it is. If you like well informed videos of games from that era, then definitely give her channel a look. https://www.youtube.com/c/HungryGoriya/featured
High Level Reviews:
Similar to hungry goriya, the videos on this channel are all informative and well presented. He primarily covers RPGs for his channel but also does analysis on other topics such as a game's design philosophy or character studies and the like. I always look forward to watching new videos from him and I think is a must for any RPG fans. https://www.youtube.com/c/HighLevelReviews/videos
Jonny Nitpick:
Another game reviewer, but this guy is more on the comedic side of it. His videos are basically in the style of the gamer reviewer show, something in the wake of Normal Boots or Hidden Block [if those groups are even still around anymore]. Never mind that though, I still think his videos are entertaining and well edited. I'm not a fan of that style and even I still like him, if that counts for anything. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCplTTQrR63notWuOT3B4BhQ
Eijuba:
Music man this time. Maybe this doesn't exactly count as video content since he produces his own music, but hey, he has a YouTube channel and none too many subscribers so I'm putting it. His stuff can be best described as chill, jazzy lounge type of music. Ok, I'm awful at talking about music, but give his stuff a listen anyway. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkAYz2YRkJ8AgpKV1qv6bzw/featured
