I feel TP was more creative. However ss had more content, graphics, and puzzles. It was a hard decision but ss wins.

Never played Twilight Princess in depth but it seems a fine game for now.
But Skyward Sword, man it's awesome, my favourite Zelda game is Link's Awakening (shame on me) and my second favourite was Ocarina of Time, but Skyward Sword has everything to be my favourite Zelda game. Let's wait for the next....

Twilight Princess is my preference in almost all aspects, but Skyward Sword is the better game. Can't be bothered explaining why. Everything I wanted to say has already been said.

i don't if i should really give my opinion as i have not played SS yet, but i have played TW and was actually disappointed with it. i know many will disagree with me but it just didn't draw me in and keep me hooked like other zelda titles.now don't get me wrong i did like the game it just didn't live up to what i expected, i really hope SS does not do this as i have even higher hopes for SS. but i really like the art style and characters much more than that of TW. it might be out of line for me to say this before playing the game but i am going to say that SS is better than TW.

im sorry but improved graphics nd gameplay doesn`t help when you don`t feel the magic and the sense of exploration like in twilight princess

Skyward Sword: more fun, better controls better thing to ride on.
Twilight Princess: Better graphics, more exploration and fighting.
both have a really good story line, but im gonna have to say SS is barely better.

I'll always prefer Twilight Princess to Skyward Sword but then will prefer Wind Waker to both of them.

I think comparing TP and SS is a bit of a no go because Twilight Princess was very different.

Some people thought that TP looked like a coffee stain and there were too many formulaic and repetitive sections like the tear collecting. Personally i was too blown away with the way the Twilight World looked to be bugged by the tear collecting and was a bit gutted after i had cleared up the twilight from Hyrule.
Running across Hyrule castle's rooftops will always be a wonderful Zelda moment for me, as will the final dungeon which just felt monumental, the final fight with Ganondorf was the best i've played in Zelda. Perhaps i'm bias though, i like the darker Zeldas, Majora's Mask is another favourite of mine over most other Zelda games.

With Skyward Sword i was just too disappointed too many times and it failed to excite me at all.

I think TP is better. SS is a great game, but I prefer TP.
There was much more to do in TP than in SS; there were a lot of chests, grottos, caves, etc. scattered around Hyrule. In SS, there weren't much of these things. SS was very easy to complete IMO, I had everything before going to the final fight with Ghirahim, and I barely used a guide. In TP, it took me a lot of time to get all the things I hadn't gotten before, these include Pieces of Heart, Poes, and some chests around Hyrule (which I'm still not sure if I have them all). Even though using the Wii-motion plus was pretty cool, I still prefer combat in TP; I think those hidden skills were very cool. SS's dungeons were very short, but they were all very cool, and Sky Keep was one of the best dungeons in the series IMO. TP had more dungeons. I think turning into a wolf is pretty awesome.
Flying with the Loftwing was pretty cool, but there wasn't much you could do with it; with Epona you could go all around Hyrule shooting enemies with your bow, which was epic. The Silent Realms, and the Twilight Realms have the same concept, but the Silent Realms are better (but they're scary as heck). Midna is way better than Fi.

And that's all I have to say.

Certainly SS (for me). The controls are brilliant, the art style is perfect, the music is amazing, and the story, as well as character development, are the best that Zelda's ever seen. As a whole, SS was far deeper. TP was good, but I found far more flaws.

I preferred Skyward Sword. It just felt better in a lot of ways. Even though, Twilight Princess had some awesome stuff.

Skyward Sword.

When Twilight Princess came out, I was so excited. And then I was let down. Not only was I greatly disappointed because of some aspects of gameplay, I just didn't like the storyline as much as Skyward Sword. And, Skyward Sword had so much of a better quality of animation. The Skyward Sword animation made me feel very warm and at-home, while Twilight Princess was very lacking in this arena. And, Skyward Sword was a huge success in every aspect. :)
