Almost everything seems to come in threes. Here were three very talented people struck down fairly close to each other.

Hmmm I don't think it is necessarily in three. In my country on the same day Shirley Temple died one of our former ministers died as well at the age of 81 and it appears she has been murdered. The names you mentioned are more known but on the same day Shirley Temple died 15 other people died too. Some people do get older and get struck by diseases and then death kicks in. It is sad but it is life
It's not always three and this is just a cooincidence, I believe.
Something that is really interesting though is the 27 Club. Many famous musicians died at the age of 27.
