II think the extent of showing affection in the series should be kissing. Honestly I don't know why nintendo has avoided it for so long, its not like its something really bad. Adding kissing would satisfy what the fans who want more romance in the series are looking for, so they may as well just do it finally. Anything more than that would be going too far, I don't think we should get a zelda game that has content you may find in the witcher or anything like that. Adding such stuff would make a lot of people mad. So nintendo shouldn't go all out and make an M rated game.

That's the problem. Are games products and services like battery-operated toys, or are they greater artistic forms like movies and literature.

Fan service is a really horrible way to go. It's why the Mass Effect series buried itself into the ground.

Not saying kissing is wrong, but "for the fans" is the wrong reason for it.
