Replay Apocalypse Too Easy?

After beating the game and unlocking Apocalypse mode, did any of you find that it was really easy?
I am not sure if it was a bug or glitch, but I have the trophy to confirm it. I beat the game entirely on Apocalypse and I found it to be easy, if not easier, than the main quest. Have any of you tried this and felt the same way? or have some of you found it difficult?

I also found that it was not much of a challenge, or much of a step up from Normal mode. It is definitely not apparent if you carry over your Abyssal Armor from a Normal playthough, it is almost as though nothing changes at all.

Really, the only thing that changes is amount of damage enemies can do - nothing else. I think in a game with better difficulty settings the enemy tactics, strategies and AI changes as well, in addition to the damage multiplier. Hopefully something we see in Darksiders II.
