Then buy it once it's out. If you're buying physical then it takes the same amount of time to walk in the store and pick a copy up. If you're buying digital then there's literally zero point to ever pre-ordering.
In my case, I do it to ensure they'll hold a copy for me at the store for whenever I can get down there to grab it. Gives me the peace of mind that I'll be able to actually get it on release day without having to wait.

I assure you that there will be a copy of the game for you at the store without pre-ordering, especially if it's a big name game like Zelda.

Pre-ordering games often comes with nifty bonuses. For instance, here in Canada pre-ordering through gamestop allows me to receive one of 3 random posters with the game. It's not a huge bonus but it's still extra free stuff.

I don't know how it works everywhere, but whenever I pre-order a game through gamestop, it only allows me to pay a small deposit of $5 after which the remaining balance is paid at pickup. Which I'm fine with but it also means I need to continue budgeting until the game's release. Sometimes I like to prepay for things for budgeting purposes.
