Phantom Hourglass is much more enjoyable, Spirit Tracks train is soooooooooooooooo boring and subtracts from the game as a whole.

Honestly, I found the steam boat to be boring. I could set a path and go on autopilot the whole time. A few enemies would pop up, but that was it. It was barely an effort. In ST, I found myself constantly having to be aware of my surroundings on the tracks, especially when the Dark and Armored Trains came along. It wasn't something I could go on autopilot with, and, I gotta say, the music made it really enthralling. But to each his own, I guess.
