Origin of Master Sword?

Now, SS is said to have the Skyward Sword which appears to turn into the Master Sword at some point in the game. We also know that SS will not have anything to do with the other games. And one more thing, since Link starts in Sky Loft, he should be up there with the Oocca who made the land of Hyrule so does this mean that this game would be at the start of the timeline of zelda games?
