By all means, it is not easy. It's not as hard as people cut it out to be, but yes, it's pretty tough. If you watch the Video Walkthrough here, you should do just fine, although I still managed to get lost. 
The fight with Dark Link is pretty hard, too. What I did, is I took out the Megaton Hammer and started hitting him as many times as I could. The most important factor with this strategy is that you can't Z-target him. If you Z-Target him he'll block your attacks.
