I have created a short theme for a new dungeon in Zelda which would be a beautiful and mysterious sky dungeon.
Here is my theme:

Now here's an entire song I made (rather than a melody). It is a new enemy battle song:

Edit: Could you explain what is wrong with it? Does it just sound like a bunch of random notes to you with no feel to it whatsoever? Or does it instead feel like a totally different song that does not suit the feel at all of what I described (a beautiful sky dungeon)?
The song I hear in my head I believe is a great zelda sky dungeon theme and I have tried my best to translate what I heard in my head. Although I think I have gotten the notes right just as I hear them in my head, this is obviously not the case (hence the responses given here). The problem with me trying to create what I hear in my head is that every time I think I have gotten the notes right just as I hear them in my head, it always turns out that I am mistaken and instead, the song is something completely different for anyone else listening to it and sounds awful or mediocre to everyone and are songs that have completely different awful and mediocre feels to them (unlike the real songs that I hear in my head).
When judging how I feel about music I created, I look at it as though it is a creation of someone else. In other words, I do not think that my music is great just because I think that I as a person am great. Although it is true that there will be a few people here and there who would think that my music is bad or not that good, this should not be the case for the vast majority of people and if it is, then that clearly indicates that I have not translated the notes correctly how I hear them in my head, regardless of how well I think I did so anyway. As for my own opinion that it is a zelda style song with a zelda feel to it that expresses this new sky dungeon, I'm sure there would be countless number of zelda fans who would hold a similar opinion to mine--which would be zelda fans just like me who would obviously recognize a zelda-like song when they hear one. If that's not the case, then it obviously means I have not gotten the notes right how I hear them in my head.
