Most Interesting Zelda Theory

My favorite theory is that Mario is Link, and that's why the Happy Mask Salesman has his mask.

I'm kinda surprised no one has named my faorite theory yet. It's the one about Ikana Kingdom in Termina being mad at the goddesses cause they flipped their "tower of babel" and it says that Twinmold is a demon from hell and also the desert you combat it in is also hell.

It's a interesting and really long theory. I thought it was really popular, though.

Hyrule in The Wind Waker being un-destroyed/flooded after Daphnes' death, due to the statement in A Link to the Past about how wishes granted by the Triforce are undone after the one who makes the wish is destroyed. It's not a theory I'm particularly invested in, necessarily, but it's something I ponder from time to time, and would be pretty ok with it if a game were placed on the "timeline" after The Wind Waker in this manner. Maybe that's what Breath of the Wild is

I like my own theory; Lake Hylia being the crater that Skyloft left behind when the Goddess raised it into the heavens.

I have a thread for it on ZD but its rather old now.


I also like the Oracle convergance timeline theory back before we knew better.
