Medieval Forevermore?

I don't like it when people call Zelda medieval, Skyrim epitomizes the medieval genre for me. Zelda has some steampunk, and, well...Skyloft didn't have any cutting edge technology, but it just felt modern, with the school and bullying and love triangle and whatnot. And also, what about the Twilight Realm in TP? I can't call that medieval at all, it almost resembled some kind of twisted sci-fi. Basically, I think Zelda combines a lot of different genres, forming its own unique identity. It doesn't fit with the typical medieval mold outlined by LOTR, which I'm grateful for.

I though the HawkEye was just a lense.

A lens with fluid and powerful mechanical zoom that you wear on your head and are able to adjust while aiming a bow.
