Majora's Mask Mask of Scents?

Does anybody have any tips or anything on the Deku Butler race in the Shrine? All tis' done is drive me nuts. I've almost betaten it a few times now, but I lost him on the part with the rings of fire on the tree stumps. Any tips for getting through it faster, other than the Bunny Hood?

Use the bunny hood! And try not to fall behind!

The thing about that race is that you absolutely can't make any mistakes if you don't have the Bunny Hood. You've got to complete the course perfectly (or very nearly) and well. That takes a lot of practice, but it can be done.

Another thing that might help, is to remain in Deku form for the first part of the race, only switching out to Hylian form when you reach the flame maze area. That's how I did it.

I found this guide extremely useful when I was trying to beat the Butler, although I'm not sure if I used that or the video guide. xD It should automatically link you to the last part of the Woodfall section, if not, just find the post temple collection area. Of just put press Ctrl+F and then type in Butler.

Be a deku scrub and press a to travel. When you need to jump or attack, turn back in to Link. This way is a lot more faster and is helpful when you reach parts where there's water.
