General Classic Magnetic Ball Puzzle in Unicorn's Cave (OoS)

I've been able to get past it before, but for some reason, I can't get the magnetic ball to move to the room below with the switch so I can advance. I've read ZD's walkthrough (as well as others), but it didn't help my. If someone could be very, very specific about this, it would be a huge help. Thanks.
