Loftwing Reference in The Minish Cap

I don't know if this has been posted before, but a week ago I found this:



The two statues bear a remarkable resemblance to the Loftwings seen in SS. Plus, they are located in Cloud Tops where the Wind Tribe (remaining "Skyloftians" maybe?) lives.

Bit too hard to see the connection man, MC came out LOOOOONG before SS but i see the link between skyloftians and the Wind Tribe i'm willing to bet that their linked ^^

Storywise, its hard to imagine a connection. But it may reference.
Same with the bird that comes playing the flute in Alttp. They both resemble a Shoebill

You know it's funny. It wasn't that long ago that I played Minish Cap. When I saw the loftwings I actually had a thought about those birds.

Guess i don't see the connection but they are too small for me LOL, but i do seriously think part of the skyloftians become the wind tribe while the rest go ahead and procreate hylians.

To me they look exactly like the loftwing stautes just small and more cartoony

They don't really look like them , but I can see the connection and they are in a sky temple
