Legendary Pictographs during the first playthrough

Okay so I did search before asking this question and the only result I got was this but my question is whether you can get legendary pictographs during the first playthrough. I know the requirement is that you have to have met the character, but could I say, right before I face Ganondorf, could I warp out and go to Windfall Island and go through the moon cycles, would I be able to get the pictographs the first time around?

Yes, i scored all pictographs long before the end of my first playthrough, if i recall you actually unlock the dorfs pictogram after the forsaken fortress. That or a tingle bottle will float on by

Unfortunately, that is not an option for me as I'm playing the gamecube version.

yeah,you just gotta beat the sidequest and you'll be able to get those pictures
