I played MM on an emulator so I can't help you much :/ but basing off of what everyone else has said im guessing its not super rare or anything, but rarer than normal

Yeah, they're just about as common as gold OoT cartridges, if not more common.
I'd say the non-holo ones are probably almost as common as the regular gold ones.
Now, if we're talking about grey ones, that's where things get crazy. A grey MM cart would mean that that was one of the demo carts used in places like Walmart to promote the game's release. They also have ones for OoT, from my knowledge.

The golden MM are not really rare, same thing with it being holographic. I am not sure if I have even seen a grey MM? But if you would have got an Oot gold cartridge then you had yourself a find. Oot pre orders all came in gold. I was lucky enough to have one growing up until my friend stole it, but i ended up finding another at a yard sale in great condition.

It's for those that preordered the game. Hold onto it, they're special. I still have mine.
I had the holographic one, it got lost when I moved. Got another off of eBay, also a holographic. Honestly I have never even seen the non-holo one.
