Is Skyward Sword the Very First Game in the Storyline?

I'm not sure if this has been confirmed or not, but I'm curious to know.

It is comfirmed to be the first because it features the origins of the Master Sword, Ganon, and the Legacy of Zelda and Link. Not to mention that the Kingdom of Hyrule is not founded yet.
