Five years ago, the Hero of Time was slaughtered by the Gerudo King Ganondorf, who took his Triforce, as well as that of Princess Zelda, to become an unstoppable force. An all-powerful sorcerer. But, in doing so, he shed his natural form, and all that was left was the beast he had become, inside and out.

And the war raged on.

Lann was sitting by a small fire in one of the abandoned shops in Castle Town, occasionally throwing a piece of burning wood at any ReDead that got too close. He stirs the fire a bit and sighs, running a hand through his hair. "Goddesses this place is depressing." He grumbles.

The game is on!
A girl dressed in blue and wearing a Mask of Truth over her face approached Kakariko Village. She had a group of three other individuals with her. When they reached the entrance to the village they stopped and the masked girl turned to the other three. One of the individuals handed the girl two purple rupees and said: "Thank you, Stoic Rogue, for providing safe escorted to this village for me and my family. We are truly grateful." The girl nodded behind her mask and then she vanished with a quick and bright flash.

Iris Grae was the name of this girl. She was born and raised in Kakariko but hadn't showed her face in the village for the past seven years. She ran away from her home and her family because of immense pressure from her father in particular, and in the years since then she has been traveling the kingdom in disguise, helping people with various things to make a living. People have come to call her the Stoic Rogue due to the mystery that surrounds her.

Tennor Dekan sits in the camp deep within the woods. He hates this - the waiting. But that's all he can do for now. The scouts are still out there - they can't plan without their intel, so they'd better get back here quickly.

Daro Gor rolls through the woods, speedily headed towards Tennor's camp. Upon seeing the camp and the zora leader, Daro launches himself from the ground and lands proudly in front of Tennor. "Brother!" he exclaims.

Tennor smiles, "About time you got back, Daro," he walks over to the strategy tent and lifts the flap, gesturing for the Goron to enter first.

Dente is inside the gravekeeper' cabin, and is fast asleep. It was not until the night when his shift would begin. Hopefully there weren't too many hooligans playing in the graveyard at present.

Tennor follows behind the Goron, into the tent. There were four other people in there - all Hylian, three males and a female. They were standing around a table, talking, when the two entered. Tennor approaches the table as well, where a map of Hyrule is spread out. Dotting it are a few miniatures. There are circles on the map at the locations of the temples. While they were now safe havens, they were almost impossible to reach, due to increased military presence in the areas around them. No doubt Ganondorf was planning on attacking the citadels soon. The sages couldn't be relied on for help.
Daro had been sent on a scouting mission to check on the status of what remained of his race. Due to its location, the Fire Temple had the weakest siege. It's hard to hold down a fort during sudden eruptions. But those weren't enough to get an entire tribe out of the temple - only one or two scouts.
That was their goal now. Go to the temple and free the Gorons. All they were waiting for was the information Daro could get on his trip.

Daro shoves himself closer to the table, and places a large finger on the Fire Temple. "The Gorons are still safely held up in the Fire Temple, Ganon's forces are still unable to push through. However, my brothers don't have food. They are starving and weak. We can't rely on their aid to liberate them," he explained with a grim tone.

"Luckily, Death Mountain's eruptions keeps Ganon's forces at bay. They weren't too strong either. The siege looked to being led by the Mad Laugher."

((Yikes, fixed it))))
