The context here being that the Gorons accidentally uncover petroleum wells beneath the Eldin Province and out of curiosity, some of them drink the oil to know what it tastes like.

We all know that the Gorons can eat rocks and drink lava, but what effects would drinking petroleum/crude oil have on a Goron's Health and Physiology?

Holy crud I saw this pop up in the SB and was about to "spam" my usual gag aimed at telemarketers. XD

Gorons eating rocks is def canon, though, I'm not so sure about the drinking lava part. But, as far as crude oils, that sounds more like something the Gerudo would find. Not sure about petrolium.

If what you said is true about them drinking lava then I think it would end up being the Gorons version of alcohol if I'm being honest

now this is giving me the idea of Gasoline in Hyrule being essentially Goron piss produced as a side effect from drinking the oil.

They do drink lava in the Oracle games.

I do wonder what use the Gerudo would have for oil if they were to find them in their province

Petroleum and Crude Oil are interchangeable names.
