There should be a small extra price that you pay, like 10 dollars when you buy a portable console so that if there ever is an upgrade like ds to ds lite, the 10 dollars would act like insurance. To let you
get the upgraded one without wasting lots of money. So for example you should get about 80% back for the old, but the money can only go toward the upgraded version. By upgraded version i do not mean ds- dsi, I mean something like dsi- dsiXL. BTW if the price drops so does the money you get back, so you always get a certain % of the current price.
