I Can't Use My Old Save Files.

I played the game on my friends PC and he backed up my saves for me. I recently bought the game off Steam and I can't seem to use the saves. I put them in two locations:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\50166249\50650\remote
C:\Users\Ken\Documents\My Games\Darksiders2\50166249

However, when I start up the game, it still comes up as if there's no save file. What can I do to use my save file?

Hmm.. I'm not sure. In My Games folder, I also have a second folder in addition to the numbered one, "English", with the same number of saves but different modified dates than my numbered folder. Maybe copy them into there as well? It's also possible DSII puts user info into the savefiles, which might make them un-transferable.
