I am confused about how to create a poll.

When you're creating a thread, just select the "poll" option near the bottom of the text box.
Your thread will be posted, and you will be taken to your poll. There you can type in your question and the options and finish. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me or another member of the forum staff.
