HELP!!

I need to get the Link and KoRL figurines for WWHD, but I can't get them to appear. I DEFINITELY have every other figurine, including Knuckle. Carlov already talked about the rainbow stone. I've left and reentered the Nintendo Gallery numerous times, played the song of passing a few times, and even tried taking a self picture with the KoRL in frame. please help

I have not done this myself yet, but what I'm finding is you have to have every figurine except for Knuckle to get it. And it is awarded to you, so I think you just talk to the figurine guy and he'll have it.

Are you 100% sure you've gotten everything? Go into every room and check every pedestal. If you've already gotten everything, there should be only 1 empty left.

The KORL & Link figurine is awarded automatically upon completion of a full set sans Knuckle.
I think you might missing a figurine. Chances are it's one of the legendary pictographs or some other hard to get pictograph.

i am 1000% sure I have every other figurine. checked four times. sucks if I have to purposefully get them all before I get the knuckle figurine. why should getting him before a full set matter? really blows

You don't have all figurines. Because if you get all figurines it will automatically be rewarded to you and Carlov will be gone. So you need to check the gallery again. It can be a very small one you're missing. Also try to get a legendary picture. Check if you took a pic of all bosses.

as it turns out, the one pedestal remaining that I thought was Link's was actually old man ho ho's and a new pedestal appears for Link's figurine.
