Majora's Mask Having Trouble Giving Items to the NPC.

I am currently trying to get the stone mask. Every time I get the medicine and try to give it to the soldier I end up taking it myself. I am doing something wrong? Are there any tips on how to give it to him? Thanks!

try z-targeting it first, just to make sure youre kinda looking at it... and youre close enough. that sounds like the only advice i could give you man

You have to actually talk to him first, then you can give it to him during the text screens.
And shouldn't this be in the Zelda Game Help section?

Just talk to him and when the text-screen appears, just select it from the menu....
Thats pretty much it....

Also this is in the wrong section....
