Favorite Star Wars Movie

It's a tie between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back for me. Both had amazing characters and plot, pure film treasure and what made me fall in love with the Star Wars world. Where Episode IV lacks in action and pacing it makes up for in character & story and vice versa with Episode V. So it's hard for me to choose one over the other, Episode VI was a great one too but as a stand alone film wasn't anything super special, was a great ending to the trilogy though.

For the prequels I say this: "Special effects are just a tool, a means of telling a story. People have a tendency to confuse them as an end to themselves. A Special effect without a story is a pretty boring thing." ~ George Lucas, 1977
Not terrible movies, but could've been done sooo muuch better.

 

[A Link In Time]

Return of the Jedi is my favorite Star Wars movie. It has the best pacing of the series and leaves no plot lines unresolved. Darth Vader fulfilling his destiny and his subsequent cremation are among the most memorable ending scenes in cinema history.

Empire Strikes Back.
Dunno why, but 5 an 6 are my two favorites. I think the epic little ewoks may be a part of the reason. ^^

I don't know why, but I've always liked Episode 5 the most ever since I was little. I think I just enjoyed the whole battle on Hoth and Cloud City towards the end.
