CONTINUE
RETRY
The "Game Over" options are explained on page 13 of the official instruction booklet.
CONTINUE
- Link will retain all possessions he had at death and respawn with 3 hearts.
- The death counter will be incremented (but only in WRAM, not SRAM)
- No progress will be saved.
- The select/load slot menu will be skipped (this is what the instruction booklet means by "carry on with the Same Game")
- Respawn Link south of the "It's Dangerous to Go Alone" cave (or inside a labyrinth at its entrance if he died in one)
- The death counter is incremented, then progress is saved to the Game Pak.
- You will be returned to the select/load slot menu.
- Respawn Link with 3 hearts south of the "It's Dangerous to Go Alone" cave, even if he died inside a labyrinth.
- Links retains all rupees he had at death
RETRY

- The death counter is not incremented.
- You will be returned to the select/load slot menu.
- Respawn Link with 3 hearts south of the "It's Dangerous to Go Alone" cave, even if he died inside a labyrinth.
