Hmm, I can't really decide which one I like better. Ours (EU) is more detailed but the gold of the NA version maybe makes it look more valauable.
I wonder how the Japanese one looks... do they have the same box art as the EU one? At least their official OoT3D site (was posted here some days ago) uses the same logo: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/aqej/index.html
Another thing that's strange are the ratings for the game: It's 10+ in the US, 12+ in the EU but 6+ in Germany (according to http://www.nintendo.de/NOE/de_DE/ga...legend_of_zelda_ocarina_of_time_3d_31475.html on the right side under "Altersfreigabe"; we don't participate in the PEGI system). Makes me wonder how they come up with such huge differences.

In NA they often rate the games for higher age groups if sex is involved while Europe rates games higher when violence is involved. Thats the difference you see between them, Germany is the odd one out here since they have their own system.

I like both box arts, NA is more mysterious and for me symbolises some nostalgia. EU one however is a great representation of the style and the adventure you'll be getting. EU wins because it's prettier

It's more than that. The European box art uses the Japanese site artwork there exactly. They made a static image for it here:

Notice anything? That's the artwork used on the European boxart. They did absolutely nothing to it. They just slapped exsiting artwork on there and called it that. Little to no-effort on their part was made. The American one though was made exclusively for North America and had custom made artwork for that purpose, rather than already existing artwork just slapped on there. Yes the Hyrule Field artwork is beautiful and there's no debating that, but I expected a less lazy boxart from Nintendo of Europe.
