Skyward Sword Dream Province?

Essentially what this thread is about is a possible province. In Skyward Sword we get to explore Link's spirit, but what if we could explore the stuff of dreams? After all, the opening of the game depicts Link having a dream! And the present events he witnesses are essentially wiped out in the past, so it could technically be said that he was dreaming the entire time!

Sure looks like a dream to me. But, what does that have to do with Skyward Sword?

You mean like in Link's Awakening?

I'm honestly not a huge fan of the "it was all a dream" trope. I mean, what was the point of going through an adventure to save a land that doesn't even exist? Also, all the people Link would meet and befriend on his quest would cease to exist once he woke up, which would be pretty said in my opinion.

Then again, something tells me I'm not understanding the topic of this thread very well.
