the dark knight rises is not nearly as good as the dark knight
I think the popularity comes from tom hardy's incredibly unique portrayal of bane and the hype from the dark knight coming ahead of it
it's a fine trilogy, everything comes together for the dark knight much more than batman begins/dark knight rises though
