Not IGN, they give way too many 10/10’s and 9/10’s for new games.

Most newer games kinda suck anyway. Even remakes are a mixed bag, so I just usually go by first hand experience. I've never even looked at a review in my entire life.
Is Eldin Ring any good? Its all I hear about these days.

Never played it, @Bowsette Plus-Ultra keeps bugging me to play it, though.
It is very good. If you enjoyed Breath of the Wild then you'll find a lot of the same vibes in Elden Ring, but much bigger.

I used to have a high opinion of it but the continual frustration of the endgame and the obnoxiously large world left me completely disgusted with the game

Oh, I thought you said you don't have anything after the Wii? BotW is only on Wii U and Switch.
Right, I played Botw at a store that had a Switch. I get the Switch in Oct.
I only really watch reviews for games I know little about but look somewhat interesting. That way I can know if I'll dig a game. I watch less reviews in general nowadays, though.
IGN and Gameinformer are supper biased. Every Call of Duty is 9.5 out 10.. ugh.
