Some do because they can talk with them like a normal person who isn't just interacting with them for their celebrity status and they don't get that very often.

Some of the more arrogant ones would be outraged someone didn't know who they were however.

Some do because they're sick or being recognised.

Others are humble and don't expect people to fall over themselves for them


Some hate it because they're pricks and I've met a few of those.

Oh most of them will love it. Because many celebs are tired of being in the spotlights. And as mentioned before there always be pricks and arrogant losers who are so full with themselves they rather stomp on you like a Goomba if you don't know who they are
