Do You Think Button Mashing is Cheating?

So that means when I button mash X and Y while playing Volga in HW I'm cheating?? Say that to my thumbs 
On a serious note, of course not. Cheating is something completely different in my opinion and mashing the buttons might be annoying and not the right way to play some games properly but that's something completely different.
