Do you prefer a harder or softer mattress?

I like a mattress which is supportive but nice and soft. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've slept on some hard mattresses and harder floors, but if I'm getting my way, the bed should welcome me into it and support me.

I suppose in the middle. Too soft hurts my back, and too hard is just uncomfortable...

Medium, I have back problems so I need to use a spring mattress, memory foam might make it worse.

I rememberthat bed of nails being very comfortable, of course it helps having your own down comforter.


I prefer beds that are a medium firmness. I like sinking in a little but don't like being swallowed by the mattress.

I have an impeccable record of being able to fall asleep wherever I am or however I'm positioned, so I don't really care about how about how cushy or firm a mattress is... if it's even a mattress at all. Couch, floor, hammock, bed of nails? If I'm tired enough, give me a blanket because I'm going on a snooze cruise right there and then.
