Do think this will be better than 4 swords?

I ask this question as this is the next 4 Swords game. It's multiple Links all being played together.

It can't be much worse.
I do hope it has an overworld but even if it doesn't at least its going to be easier to play with others thanks to modern technology unlike having to have so much hardware during the FS/A era.

With the original Four Swords, absolutely yes.
When it comes to Four Swords Adventures however.... That is pretty questionable. FSA had some real meat to the game, and some really great puzzles. So I think it is questionable.

Oh, I misunderstood the question. I never played Four Swords and only only Four Swords Adventures, and voted as such. I said no because FSA was so much fun to play with my friends that, at one point, I was laughing so that I peed my pants. I don't think this game will hold a candle to my nostalgia fueled love of FSA.

It looks like poop so far. I mean, even the environments look bland as heck right now. I just don't like the direction of it so far.

If it has the capacity to remain memorable in any significant way then it will have surpassed 4 Swords. There really is a low bar for this goal. With the unique concept behind the gameplay I think that might be doable. Somehow a costume based stacking wacky style might be interesting enough to have people curious about it. It is at least a better gimmick than the solo player 4 Swords command system. Which was frustrating to deal with at best, and just caused people to not want to bother at all at worst.

Putting it on 3DS was a much better idea as well, since 4 Swords Adventures was not something people wanted to play on a console based on looks alone.Reverting back to a top down game with limited graphics after Wind Waker was not a great move on Nintendo's part.

I picked up a copy of Four Swords Adventures for the first time about a month or two ago and I've played it a handful of times so far, but I have found the experience to be kind of mediocre, to be honest. I started reading some reviews of the game, however, and I do think the game would be really, really fun if I was able to play it in multiplayer mode. Sadly, even though I have a GBA and the necessary cable, I don't have anyone who would play it with me, let alone 3 people! If this new game can produce the same kind of fun that was merely possible in Four Swords Adventures and actually make it easily accessible via the 3DS, then I think it will definitely outshine its predecessor.

I didn't play Four Swords, in fact, it's the only Zelda I didn't play... But for what I saw, yeah, I believe so... Too bad I'm from Argentina, and Nintendo isn't too kind with the conectivity in these regions.

four Swords was extremely short and the puzzles were very basic. TH has a visual flair and 3d world FS lacked. The dungeons do seem to follow the basic overhead design of the Oracle games, but with more advanced puzzles through the stacking mechanics. While to some being on the bottom of those stacks might seems tedious, it looks like a fun and challenging way to divide up the tasks between players. The fact that it makes you all one unit should make it more intuitive than FS. We haven't seen all that's there, but the varied use of items should give it replay value in addition to the basic fun-with-friends concept. The customizable character designs and abilities will add a new level of depth as well, even homaging past games in the series. I'm hoping for a good heaping of fanservice, a la HW. Overall, it looks like this will be a fun addition to the Zelda franchise using the succesful engine from ALBW. My only worries are repetitive level design and puzzles that fail to challenge the player, but those should be minimal if they're even there. Here's me hoping for another great entry in the series!

I only played the Four Swords anniversary thing that came with the 3DS ambassador program a while back. Having said that, I think it will be a whole lot better. It will actually have online multiplayer which means you don't have to play singleplayer if no one in your circle of friends irl gets the game. Single player in FS was very underwhelming. It seems like Tri Force Heroes has much more interesting puzzles. I definitely think it'll be much better.
