Dessert appreciation thread

Dessert is my favourite course. I often only have that one course in a meal.

If i go out with friends i'll order cake rather than the actual food.

Cheesecake, belgian waffles, pancakes, ice cream, all that good stuff, its lovely and it makes me happy after or during a bad day.

I love most desserts, especially since I love baking!
Some of my absolute favorites, though are: cookies, brownies, tiramisu, ice cream, mousse, truffles, and cupcakes.

I'm not a big fan of desserts. I'd rather have two main courses. But if it were a rare occasion and I was to have one then Iced Cream is the one I'd go for.

Almost anything really. I have an ultra sweet tooth.

Just an aside Spirit: Are waffles and pancakes really considered dessert in the UK? If so, that's hilarious, because in America, it's considered part of a "nutritious breakfast". Lol.

I myself find ice cream to be the superior treat. I can do almost anything with ice cream! Cones, sundaes, shakes, malts, sandwiches. You name it, I have probably done with ice cream. It's just so versatile and so delicious.

I like stop and go jelly.
I also like Lychees on ice.

I'm not much a heavy dessert person. However the occassional baked cheesecake is awesome. As is a proper pavlova - Not the soft ****. It's a hard meringue base topped with whatever. That's a proper pavlova.

There's a fantastic seafood restaurant near me, and they have equally fantastic deserts. One of which is a deep-dish chocolate chip cookie, which is exactly what you think it is and it's amazing, especially with ice cream.

Speaking of Asian dessert, mochi is pretty good, and fun to eat.

I love pretty much all desserts but I feel the need to call special attention to the cookie smore which I discovered last Christmas, it’s the most delicious thing I’ve eaten since the ice cream smore I discovered last summer. o: Looked something like this.
