Butt-Ugly Video Game Covers

Soooo what are the worse game covers you have seen in your amazing lifetime.
For me it would have to be world Soccer on the Sega Master system. Quite a lot of game covers on this system don't look compelling at all. but this one takes the cake.

Firstly like all master system covers it has the ugly white squared background, which just reminds me of math lessons from school ;\
Secondly it's just a foot and ball! Wow this game truly does LOOK AMAZING!

That's such a terrible game case, what were they thinking. I assume with so many footballs games in general bursting out onto systems back in the 90's they didn't really try too hard to sell it.
I think a lot of modern game covers look dull. The modern game covers always feature some tough looking guys mug shot looking all angry like. The call of duty games have terrible game covers if you ask me.

Seriously though, that cover is pretty bad. At least it gets the point across.

The first one's just weird, the second one has a freakishly huge nose- hardly looks like a dog, and the 007 one ...I don't know, it just doesn't look like it belongs...

Sad to say, but....

I mean, no official artwork or anything, just Mario's less-than-appealing 8 bit sprite, greatly enlarged to show how miserably pixelized it is. Then again, knowing how the Mega Man series was..... maybe official art wouldn't have been the best.

Bust-A-Move 2 Arcade Edition for the PSX/Saturn (sorry, no pic for now, just google it) proves that paying homage to A Clockwork Orange on your videogame cover art isn't the best marketing idea.
