Game Help Bug Mini-game Not Available

So, I don't know if this is the right place for this thread. Correct me if it's wrong.

I've been working on my 3rd play-through of Skyward Sword. I got through the Levias "battle" and discussion, however when I head to Bug Rock to meet Strich and play the mini game...he isn't there! I'm not sure what the deal is. I've done everything necessary up to this point. Side quests, anything related to the main quest and even a couple gratitude crystals extra than I would have at this point.

I've tried exiting and re-entering Thunderhead, but that didn't do the trick. I'm pretty sure I've done everything (except for maybe beating two mini games for heart pieces), but could there be something that I missed doing??

It's been a while since I've played Skyward Sword, so my memory isn't very clear, but I would suggest just progressing further into the plot and see if the minigame opens up eventually. As I said, I don't clearly remember how the minigame becomes available, so that's all I can think of. Sorry if this wasn't much help.

It's all good! The mini game is supposed to come available after meeting with Levias the first time and beating the parasite boss. According to Mases' video tutorial, he goes straight to bug island before leaving the Thunderhead and Strich is there waiting. From there after doing the first bug challenge, it's supposed to unlock Beedle's gratitude crystal side quest.

Edit: So it seems you're still stuck, my suggestion is to search around for any threads, on this forum or others, and see if they've found a solution.
