*After Cayde had finished cleaning the house, she sat down on the couch in the living room and turned on the TV. A Roku sat underneath the TV, so they had streaming services instead of cable. Cayde grabbed the Roku remote and browsed through what they had: Disney Plus, HBO Max, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

She settled on HBO Max and watched Casablanca, which she hadn’t watched in a long time. Casablanca was Cayde’s favorite movie, every time she watched it, she would cry.*

Wood Man swiftly latches himself onto the robot's leg and downloads a virus onto it, making it slower.

*Cayde finished watching Casablanca and turned on some Looney Tunes to calm down. Natalie pulled into the driveway and entered the house, carrying a box of stuff and seeming pretty angry.*

Natalie: “We’re sorry that your position has been apart of the layoffs.” “We’re sorry that you’ve only been working here for the last two months.” We’re sorry that you’re NOT IMPORTANT TO THIS COMPANY ANYMORE!

*Cayde rose up to go comfort her mother*

Cayde: Mom, everything okay? You sound angry.

Natalie: You’re damn right I’m angry! I’m pissed! I’m livid! I’ve just been laid off!

Cayde: Mom-

Natalie: What am I going to do?! I need to find a new job, what the hell am I going to tell James?!

Cayde: I’m sure Dad will understand.

Natalie: You-You’re right... he’ll understand.

*Cayde watched as Natalie sullenly walked up the stairs and entered her and James’ bedroom, falling onto the bed and holding a pillow to her face, masking her tears. Cayde felt bad for her, so she called James to tell him what had happened.*

I have received a promotion and a raise today, and I was going to encourage you to take fewer hours so you could spent more time with the girls.
