Woman: Hello?

*Cayde takes in a deep breath*

Cayde: Hi, mom...

Woman: Cayde? Is that you?

Cayde: Yes...

*As she said that, a few tears went down her cheek*

Woman: Hang on, sweetie. I’ll put your dad on for you.

Cayde: Thanks...

Chevs: Hey, Mr. Koopa? Yeah, I can talk, don't be surprised. Why exactly did Cayde's parents give her up? I thought they had died.

Mr. Koopa: So, ah, you hungry? I'm fresh out of meat, but I've got, uh, what do you like?

Chevs: I'm fine, thanks.

Woman: Sweetie, it’s okay. I know you miss us, we had no choice, and we didn’t have enough money to support a child. Please don’t be mad at us. I appreciate you calling me. I love you and I hope I can see you in person.

Cayde: I-I l-l-love you t-t-too, mom.

*Cayde smiled and hung up, then exited the room, sitting back down and sipping her tea*
