Is there a certain place this works? I've enabled it and tried & tried but can.t get it to give up anything. I press L to get it going but should I press something else as well ?

Are you referring to amiibo rune?

As far as i know no place holds special significance for amiibo drops. Just dump out where ever is convenient

Are you holding the amiibo on the camera stick like you’re supposed to? It should work pretty much anywhere.

You press L to turn the rune on, and then you press the amiibo to the camera stick to activate it. That's on Switch, idk about Wii U.

Almost the same.

Press L to turn the Rune on then press the amiibo to a double rectangle icon on the bottom left of the wii u pad (just under the dpad)
